Since I was a child, being a natural helper came instinctively. I offer a calm, nonjudgmental presence where others feel safe to open up. Holding space has always been second nature. It's simply woven into who I am.
Becoming a mother of two deepened my understanding of the emotional and generational patterns we carry. I knew I didn’t want to pass down the trauma I had experienced, so I began a journey of personal growth. This led me to a four-year training at the Luminous Awareness Institute, an energy and trauma-based program where I explored attachment, healing, and my own innate gifts. My passion for deep connection continued to grow, guiding me toward Spiritual Hypnotherapy, where I became a certified hypnotherapist through HCH Institute.
When the stillness of COVID arrived, it amplified my connection to nature. I found healing in the natural world, nurturing plants and exploring the ancient art of natural dyeing. What began as a personal practice evolved into a small business, where I shared the magic of plant-based dyeing and the wisdom of nature with my community. Alongside this, I continued my studies, including The Language of Emotions, learning how emotions hold powerful messages when we listen deeply.
My desire to support others also led me to work as a job coach at East Bay Innovations, helping young adults with disabilities gain independence. Yet, it wasn’t until I woke from a vivid dream of supporting someone in labor that I truly found my path. The dream felt so real, as if I had been a birth worker my entire life. The very next day, I began searching for doula programs, but the options felt overwhelming. In a moment of synchronicity, I ran into an old friend—now a midwife—who introduced me to Hospital Friendly Doulas.
This program changed my life. I received my doula training and dedicated 100+ hours of volunteer work, supporting laboring people from all walks of life. Through this hands-on experience, I learned what it truly means to advocate for a laboring person, hold space, integrate partners into the process, and meet each family exactly where they are—with deep presence, trust, and breath-by-breath support.
I continue to expand my skills, including a certification with Spinning Babies, and I am committed to ongoing learning as a childbirth educator and birth doula. My path has woven together healing, intuition, and advocacy, all leading me here—to support you on your birth journey with presence, wisdom, and unwavering care.
Thank you for your sharing the inspiring work you do in this world to uplift & empower us all.
